"5 Days on Us" Terms & Conditions
1. Prize
The prize is five (5) consecutive days of vehicle hire with Adventure West 4×4 Rentals (“Prize Voucher”). The Prize Voucher may be redeemed on any vehicle category, subject to availability and these Terms and Conditions.
2. Maximum value
The Prize Voucher is valued at up to AUD $2,375 (incl. GST) in total (“Maximum Value”). The Maximum Value applies to the base vehicle hire charges only for the five (5) consecutive-day hire period.
If the selected vehicle, dates, or pricing results in hire charges exceeding the Maximum Value, the voucher holder must pay the difference prior to collection.
3. Validity
The Prize Voucher is valid for two (2) years from the date of issue shown on the voucher and must be booked and commenced before the expiry date. Any unused portion is forfeited after expiry.
4. How to redeem (recipient instructions)
To redeem the Prize Voucher, the voucher holder must:
a) Contact Adventure West 4×4 Rentals to request a booking and quote, providing the voucher code and preferred dates.
b) Complete the booking confirmation process as requested by Adventure West 4×4 Rentals.
c) Present the Prize Voucher (digital or physical) and valid identification at vehicle collection.
d) Pay the AUD $500 security bond (see clause 6) and any additional amounts payable (including any difference above the Maximum Value, optional extras, fees, or charges).
All redemptions are subject to vehicle availability at the time of booking confirmation. Lodging an enquiry does not guarantee availability.
5. Booking conditions
a) The prize must be taken as one (1) hire of five (5) consecutive days. It cannot be split across multiple hires or dates.
b) Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only when Adventure West 4×4 Rentals issues written confirmation.
c) The voucher holder is strongly encouraged to book as early as possible to secure preferred dates.
6. Security bond
A refundable security bond of AUD $500 is required for all Prize Voucher bookings and is payable prior to, or at, vehicle collection (as directed by Adventure West 4×4 Rentals). The bond is refundable in accordance with the standard rental agreement, including assessment of vehicle condition, cleaning requirements, fuel policies, tolls, infringements, damage, late returns, and any other applicable charges.
7. What is not included (exclusions)
Unless Adventure West 4×4 Rentals confirms otherwise in writing, the Prize Voucher does not include:
a) Fuel, AdBlue, tolls, parking, or any travel costs.
b) Optional extras and accessories (including but not limited to Starlink, additional camping equipment, child seats, recovery gear upgrades, or similar).
c) Delivery, after-hours fees, one-way fees, cleaning fees, or late return fees (where applicable).
d) Any insurance excess, damage costs, or costs arising from breaches of the rental agreement.
8. Standard rental agreement applies
All Prize Voucher hires are subject to Adventure West 4×4 Rentals’ standard rental agreement and policies, including (without limitation) driver eligibility requirements, licence checks, permitted use, prohibited use, vehicle care obligations, and return conditions. Adventure West 4×4 Rentals may refuse hire where eligibility requirements are not met.
9. Non-transferable and no cash alternative
The Prize Voucher is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, resold, or combined with other promotions or discounts unless Adventure West 4×4 Rentals agrees in writing.
10. Changes and cancellations
a) Date changes requested by the voucher holder are subject to availability and any applicable fees under the standard rental agreement.
b) If a booking is cancelled by the voucher holder, the Prize Voucher remains valid until its expiry date; however, any fees payable under the standard rental agreement may apply.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adventure West 4×4 Rentals is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the Prize Voucher or its redemption, including where preferred dates or vehicle categories are unavailable.
